João Figueiredo is the new President of the PFP - Portuguese Railway Platform Association.
The engineer, who represents IP - Infraestruturas de Portugal, was elected on February 24th 2022, at the General Assembly of the Association.
The single list was unanimously elected after voting by the members present at this assembly (ou colocares at the assembly that dictated the election of the new president.)
Along with the change in presidency, there was also a renewal in the vice-presidency. With the departure of Joaquim Guerra, former president, the engineer Manuel António Pereira is now the new representative of CP - Comboios de Portugal EPE at the Portuguese Railway Platform.
Engineer Margarida Pinto, representing ISQ - Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade, is also a new addition to the list, that maintains the remaining members.
The elected list has already taken office and will oversee the PFP for the next 2 years.
