International Conference on Transportation Systems (TS2025)

First International Conference on Transportation Systems (TS2025), where we will explore and discuss the latest innovative results from national and international projects in the area of Transportation Systems.

The first edition of the conference emerges as a joint action between IDMEC and FEUP to disseminate an emerging theme such as Transportation Systems. The event will take place at the Congress Center of the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal, from June 16 to 18, 2025.

TS2025 addresses all aspects and scales of transport systems, from basic concepts to future trends, covering a wide range of topics within sustainable transport, logistics, production and production processes in transport systems, rail systems, aviation and aerospace, urban mobility, energy and transport efficiency, health monitoring, reliability, risk, safety, security and resilience in transport systems.

This year's main theme - "Railways as the backbone of the transport system" - highlights the fundamental role of railways in the transport system, in urban mobility and in regional passenger and freight transport.
