ISTrain | Engineering the Future of Rail: Innovation, Talent, and Global Challenges

In September, we had the pleasure of attending the event "Engineering the Future of Rail: Innovation, Talent, and Global Challenges", organized by ISTrain, the student team from Instituto Superior Técnico dedicated to designing and innovating in the creation of a competition train.

The Portuguese Railway Platform is proud to support initiatives like this one, which give voice and space to young talent, creativity, and engineering. Our Executive Director, Paulo Duarte, took part as a speaker in the roundtable discussion, where key topics were addressed to inspire students not only to be the future of the railway sector but also to make it increasingly attractive and innovative.

This event reinforces the importance of motivating different generations and ideas to drive the railway sector forward.
