Considered a reference in national railway events and organized annually by the PFP – Portuguese Railway Cluster Platform Association, Railway Cluster, this year it took place on the 3rd and 4th of May 2023, at the National Railway Museum, in the city of Entroncamento, Portugal. With the aim of discussing different ideas, exchange experiences and new visions of innovation for the entire Railway Sector, this event was exclusively in person, to promote the interaction of the entire railway sector and stimulate B2B relationships between all participants. In a context of great plans for the development and future of the Portuguese railway sector, namely through the National Railway Plan, this event highlighted the announced national investment plans in High Speed and its financial instruments, respecting the national ecological challenges, providing a discussion of railway priorities and innovations, to make long-term decisions and to be part of the announced investments in the EU for the future development of the railway in Europe. As usual at the "PORTUGAL Railway Summit", the stage was also shared for business presentations in the "PITCH SESSIONS" which will be joined by "TECHNICAL VISITS" to CP Comboios de Portugal's Office Park and the National Railway Museum. The PORTUGAL Railway Summit is an open forum for discussing current trends in the national and international railway sector, namely the challenges for mobility in 2030 defined by the ERRAC and the Strategic Agenda for Railway Research and Innovation (SRIA): Digitization, Automation, New Mobility Solutions, Green Deal and Sustainable Mobility. It is an event of great interest and general participation, with institutional presence at the highest business level, including representatives of the Portuguese Government.
